Learning sign language with Kinect

Project Description:
 

Sign language is the major communication method for deaf people. However it is not simple for us to learn all the signs. In this project we will build a system for learning American Sign Language (ASL). The system will guide the user and show him video tutorials. Then the user will be requested to reproduce the learned signs. We will use Kinect to capture the signs accurately. The signs will be recognized and verified using learning methods. The entire system is aimed at learning in real-time with Kinect and TV screen hardware.

In this project we will develop algorithm and create an application.
